Curriculum

At St Willibrord's we develop the whole child.  We recognise and encourage talents and skills of all kinds and develop independent learners. Raising attainment and achievement are central to the ethos of our school.

-We provide a creative, rich and stimulating learning experience for all the children in our school.

-We use a range of teaching strategies, approaches, styles and activities to ensure all children learn to the best of their ability.

-Learing is carefully differentiated and pitched to suit learners' needs.

-Learning is enhanced through bright, stimulating resources, displays and modern technology.

-We have themed weeks as well as a wide range of extra-curricular activities and children grow into confident, talented and articulate young people. We are an exciting and vibrant school where children enjoy learning and make excellent progress. In our school, we seek to meet the needs of each individual.

-We celebrate diversity and teach children to recognise and respect people's individual differences as well as similarities. St Willibrord's recognises the significant role of parents in helping their children progress and greatly values the contribution parents add to the life of our school.
