PTFA

What is a PTFA?

A PTFA (Parents Teachers and Friends Association) is a group of volunteers who work alongside the school/teachers/staff and other “friends of the school” to enrich the children’s school experience. As a group, we organise activities and fundraising events, and this then enables us to provide extra treats for the children throughout the school year.

All parents and carers with children attending St Willibrord’s Primary school are automatically supporters of the PTFA.

How does the PTFA benefit school?

Having a PTFA is a great way to have a partnership between school and parents. We communicate regularly and support each other. Taking an active role in the PTFA is one of the ways you can make a difference and get involved.

Who are the members of PTFA?

How can I help?

The PTFA is run by a small group of 7 individuals, however when it comes to organising events, we will always be looking for an extra pair of hands! Whether you are able to sell raffle tickets, are able to volunteer to run a stall, or to help in any other way, we are extremely grateful!

Please don’t think that working or having small children at home is a barrier to being able to help! All of our Committee members have work and family commitments outside of the PTFA, but we aim to strike a balance and help when we can. Any help that you are able to offer is appreciated!

If you are interested in putting your name down to help at any future events, or would like to know a bit more about what we do...
