Mission Statement

Our mission is to create a harmonious Catholic community where each child is helped to achieve their full potential as a valued individual.

We aim to achieve this by:

• Providing a broad and challenging curriculum enriched with the spiritual truths of our Faith.

• Teaching respect for self and others through the Catholic Faith.

• Furthering the children’s understanding of their own and other Faiths.

• Motivating children and teachers to do their best within a secure learning environment.

• Maintaining a high standard of discipline and behaviour in an atmosphere of openness and shared responsibility within the school community.

• Valuing a close relationship with parents, the first teachers of our children.

At St Willibrord’s Catholic Primary School, our ethos is rooted in our faith and our mission to "Grow In God." We believe every pupil is a unique gift, deserving of respect, care, and the opportunity to flourish in all aspects of life.

Our school community is built on the values of love, compassion, and service, inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ. We strive to create a nurturing environment where pupils develop spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally, preparing them to be confident, responsible, and compassionate members of society.

We are committed to celebrating the rich diversity of our community, welcoming pupils from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and ensuring that every child receives the personalised support they need to succeed.

Together with our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and parish community, we work to foster a culture of high expectations, mutual respect, and a lifelong love of learning.

At St Willibrord’s, faith and education go hand in hand, guiding us to grow not only in knowledge but also in kindness and faithfulness.
